“I’m Dorothy and I’m truly honoured that you’re here.
If you’ve found your way to Hadassah Collective, I believe this is not accidental. I believe God is drawing you into a new chapter, one marked by clarity, restoration, and a deeper understanding of who you are and what you carry.
I am a woman called by God to teach, to preach, and to heal. My heart beats especially for women and creatives navigating seasons of transition, moments of reinvention, uncertainty, and purpose-seeking, where the old no longer fits but the new has not yet fully formed.
From Media Executive to Faith-Driven Leader
My journey began in the world of media, long before I fully understood what God was preparing me for. I founded Spielworks Media and spent many years producing films, television, and digital content that celebrated African stories and voices. That season established my reputation and influence within Africa’s creative industry.
I later served as Director of Content for Series and Film in Africa at Netflix, where I helped bring African storytelling to a global stage. It was a season of building, leading, stretching, and achieving.
And then - burnout.
What felt like a breaking point became an awakening. God used that moment to arrest my attention and invite me into stillness. In the quiet, I heard Him clearly for the first time in a long while. I realised my assignment was bigger than the work I was doing. My calling was not only to create stories, but to minister to hearts.
Why Hadassah Collective Exists
Hadassah Collective was born out of that revelation. It is a movement designed to strengthen a woman’s three most important relationships: her relationship with God, her relationship with herself and her relationship with others.
Hadassah Collective is the home of The Daily Practice, Heavenly Fellowship, and Asili. One vision, three expressions of restoration.
At Hadassah Collective, we walk with women as they journey toward emotional and spiritual restoration. We offer tools, language, and sacred spaces that help women come home to themselves, and to God, without striving, performance, or pressure.
